Josh Beatty is founder and Chief Executive Officer of ARound, a company focused on bringing people together through AR attractions for live events. ARound was the winner of Stagwell Inc’s annual innovation competition which facilitates and scales new product ideas within the agency network of 10,000+ employees. Josh previously founded modulR, an Inc. 500 fast-growth company that supported the mobile workforce. modulR worked closely with Apple, AT&T, Nike and others on mobile technology support and product development. Inventor and developer of numerous AR, VR and machine learned applications.
Raven Zachary is Chief Operating Officer at ARound focused on product delivery and operations. He joins ARound through Stagwell’s acquisition of Object Theory, a leader in creating custom augmented reality applications for businesses using wearables, smartphones, and tablets. Object Theory was a Fast Company “Most Innovative Virtual/Augmented Reality Companies” recipient and one of the first Microsoft agency partners for HoloLens.
Prior to founding Object Theory, Raven spent eight years in the mobile app industry. In 2007, he was the founder of iPhoneDevCamp, the largest iOS development conference outside of Apple’s own Worldwide Developers Conference. The following year, Raven was the director of the official Obama ’08 iPhone app for the Obama Campaign, which led to the formation of Small Society, a mobile application development company. He was responsible for launching mobile applications for Starbucks, Zipcar, Whole Foods Market, the Democratic Party, Amazon, and many other well-known brands. In 2012, he sold Small Society to Walmart, where he directed the mobile product management team, launching a dozen mobile apps and sites for the world’s largest company.
Dana Ware develops new, innovative AR experiences and stories that blend virtual and physical realities in novel ways. She joins from The VOID, where she served as creative director for projects in the rapidly expanding field of location-based virtual reality (VR). An internationally acclaimed Chicana director, she is also passionate about advancing the AR/VR industry through the inclusion of underrepresented voices, serving as co-chair for the Women in Games special interest group of the IGDA, and as a Future Realities Summit Advisor for the Game Developers Conference.
Lauren Fisher is a designer, animator and director with over 15 years of experience in the entertainment and sports industry. She specializes in creating visually arresting content that experiments with animation, live-action and emerging technologies to tell compelling stories and delight audiences. Beginning her career in broadcast design, she then moved on to directing projects for some of the biggest brands in sports including the NBA, NFL, NCAA and over 15 professional teams. In 2018 she developed a pilot for a short-form docuseries called Greatness Code with Religion Of Sports, which was picked up by Apple TV and won an Emmy for animation. Lauren served as Director of Animation for the series. She was most recently Chief Creative Officer of The Famous Group, a fan experience company based out of Culver City, CA and has since moved on to develop her independent creative direction practice.
